As a Civil Marriage Celebrant Carolyn has solemnised weddings and other ceremonies on a regular basis since 1998 throughout the Manawatu and in Rangitikei, Horowhenua, Martinborough, Taranaki, Rotorua, Taupo, Wellington and Canterbury. Bookings for weddings involve most weekends during the spring and summer months and she is often booked up to eighteen months in advance.
Marriages in New Zealand can be held at any venue, so long as the venue is the same place named in your marriage registry. Holding membership of the Celebrants Guild of New Zealand keeps her up to date on new ideas and current issues.
Carolyn’s increasing collection of literature and reference material enables her to assist you with a vast choice of wording and ideas for your special ceremony.
Your marriage vows are a personal choice and such a significant part of your ceremony – something you get to choose personally.
To ensure all guests can hear the entire ceremony, Carolyn has a portable microphone system which can be hired for a nominal fee.
Along with carrying out the ceremony, Carolyn makes herself available to assist the Bride and Groom in every way possible immediately after the ceremony. She is also available to carry out the role of Master of Ceremonies at the Wedding Breakfast.
She takes pride in her grooming and presentation ensuring her clothing is appropriate for the occasion.
In the weeks following your ceremony, Carolyn will prepare and send you a keep-sake copy of your ceremony – something to treasure along with your photos and memories of your special day.
